1And YAHUAH Elohim said to Noach: “Enter you and all your family into the teivah [ark], for you have I seen righteous before Me in this generation. 2And of the clean cattle take to yourself seven pairs, male and female, and of the unclean cattle pairs, male and female. 3And of clean flying creatures of the shamayim [heavens] seven pairs, male and female, and of all unclean flying creatures two pairs, male and female, to maintain zera [seed/descendants] upon all the Aretz [earth]. 4For yet seven days being past, I bring rain upon the Aretz forty days and forty nights, and I will blot out every living thing which I have made from the face of all the Aretz.” 5And Noach did all things whatsoever YAHUAH Elohim commanded him. 6And Noach was 600 years old when the mabul [flood] of water was upon the Aretz. 7And then went in Noach, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him into the teivah, because of the water of the mabul. 8And of clean cattle, and of unclean cattle, and of clean flying creatures, and of unclean flying creatures, and of everything that creeps upon the Aretz, 9two by two went they in to Noach into the teivah, male and female, as Elohim commanded Noach. 10And it came to pass after the seven days that the water of the mabul was upon the Aretz. 11In the 600th year of Noach's life, in the second month, on the 27th day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the floodgates of the shamayim [heavens] were opened. 12And the rain was upon the Aretz forty days and forty nights. 13On that very day entered Noach, Shem, Cham, Yafet, the sons of Noach, and the wife of Noach, and the three wives of his sons with him into the teivah [ark]. 14And all the wild beasts after their Min [kind], and all cattle after their Min, and every creeping thing moving upon the Aretz after its Min, and every flying creature after its Min, 15went in to Noach into the teivah, two by two, male and female of all flesh, in which was the nishmat chayim [breath of life]. 16And they that entered went in male and female of all flesh, as Elohim commanded Noach; and YAHUAH Elohim shut the teivah from without him. 17And the mabul was upon the Aretz forty days and forty nights, and the water multiplied exceedingly, and lifted up the teivah, and it was raised aloft from off the Aretz. 18And the water prevailed and multiplied exceedingly upon the Aretz, and the teivah floated upon the water. 19And the water prevailed exceedingly more and more upon the Aretz, and covered all the high mountains which were under the shamayim. 20Fifteen cubits aloft was the water raised, and it covered all the high mountains. 21And all flesh died that moved upon the Aretz, of flying creatures and of cattle, and of wild beasts, and every creeping thing moving upon the Aretz, and every man. 22And all things which had the nishmat chayim [breath of life], and everyone that was upon the dry land, died. 23And He blotted out every living thing which was upon the face of the Aretz, from man to cattle, and creeping things, and the flying creatures of the shamayim, and they were blotted out from the Aretz; and Noach alone was left, and they that were with him in the teivah. 24And the water was raised aloft over the Aretz 150 days.
