1And it came to pass when Adam began to multiply upon the Aretz [earth], and daughters were born to them, 2that the b'nei Elohim [sons of God / angels of God] saw the daughters of Adam that they were beautiful, and they took to themselves wives of all whom they chose. 3And YAHUAH Elohim said: “My Ruach [Spirit] shall not remain among these men forever, because they are flesh, but their days shall be 120 years.” 4Now the Nephilim [giants/fallen ones] were upon the Aretz [earth] in those days; and after that, when the b'nei Elohim were wont to go in to the daughters of Adam, and they bore children to them, those were the mighty men of old, the men of renown. 5And YAHUAH Elohim, having seen that the wicked deeds of Adam were multiplied upon the Aretz, and that everyone in his heart was intently brooding over ra [evil] continually, 6then Elohim purposed in His heart that He had made Adam upon the Aretz[earth], and He pondered it deeply. 7And Elohim said: “I will blot out Adam whom I have made from the face of the Aretz, even from Adam to cattle, and from creeping things to the flying creatures of the shamayim [heavens], because I am grieved that I have made them.” 8But Noach found chen [favor/grace] before YAHUAH Elohim. 9And these are the toledot [generations] of Noach. Noach was a tzaddik [righteous man], being perfect in his generation; Noach was well-pleasing to Elohim. 10And Noach yalad [fathered] three sons: Shem, Cham, and Yafet [Japheth]. 11And the Aretz was corrupted before Elohim, and the Aretz was filled with chamas [violence]. 12And YAHUAH Elohim saw the Aretz, and it was corrupted; because all flesh had corrupted its way upon the Aretz. 13And Elohim said to Noach: “The time of all flesh is come before Me, because the Aretz is filled with chamas by them, and behold, I destroy them and the Aretz. 14Make therefore for yourself a teivah [ark] of square timber; you shall make the teivah in compartments, and you shall pitch it within and without with pitch. 15And thus you shall make the teivah: 300 cubits the length of the teivah, and 50 cubits the breadth, and 30 cubits the height of it. 16You shall narrow the teivah in making it, and you shall complete it above to a cubit; and you shall make the door of the teivah in the side; with lower, second, and third stories you shall make it. 17And behold, I bring a mabul [flood] of water upon the Aretz, to destroy all flesh in which is the ruach chayim [breath of life] under the shamayim, and whatsoever things are upon the Aretz shall die. 18And I will establish My berit [covenant] with you; and you shall enter into the teivah, you, and your sons, and your wife, and your sons’ wives with you. 19And of all cattle, and of all creeping things, and of all beasts, even of all flesh, you shall bring into the teivah two of every kind, that you may feed them with yourself; male and female they shall be. 20Of flying creatures after their Min [kind], and of cattle after their Min, and of all creeping things that creep upon the Aretz after their Min, two of every kind shall enter in to you, male and female, to be fed with you. 21And you shall take to yourself of all kinds of food which you eat, and you shall gather it to yourself, and it shall be for food for you and them.” 22And Noach did all things whatsoever YAHUAH Elohim commanded him; so, did he.
